[Metal-Temple.com] Pink Floyd Perform At Live 8 In London (News)

British Rock legends Pink Floyd performed at London’s Hyde Park last night (July 2) in front of more than 150.000 people attending Bob Geldof’s Live 8 concert.

Pink Floyd reunited just for the purposes of Live 8 which went on simultaneously at eight countries as a worldwide voice ahead of the G8 summit in Scotland on July 6 where eight world leaders will be presented with a workable plan to double aid, drop debt and make trade laws fair to stop 30,000 children dying needlessly of extreme poverty every single day. The cities that hosted Live 8 are London (U.K.), Paris (France), Berlin (Germany), Rome (Italy), Philadelphia (USA), Barrie (Canada), Tokyo (Japan) and Johannesburg (South Africa). Hundreds of thousands of people attended Live 8 and around 3 Billion people watched it live from their TV sets and via the Internet, from all over the world.

Guitarist David Gilmour, drummer Nick Mason and keyboard player Richard Wright joined bassist Roger Waters on stage for their first public performance since they played at London’s Earls Court in 1981. Pink Floyd played the following tracks:

01. Breathe
02. Money
03. Wish You Were Here
04. Comfortably Numb
