Sony Ericsson G900




The Sony Ericsson G900 being showcased in CeBIT 2008 � is named "touchscreen organisers" by the Swedish-Japanese phone makers. The dimension for the G900 is 106 x 49 x 13 mm and 99 grams, Sony Ericsson G900 brings more advanced features.

The phone runs on Symbian UIQ and offers a 2.4 inch TFT touchscreen display with 256K colours support and a 240 x 320 pixels resolution, tri-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz), and Wi-Fi.

One of the highlights of G900 is its 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, flash, image stabilizer and video recording. Besides offering good-quality pictures at high resolutions, the camera also allows users to instantly share images with friends and family. A secondary front camera for video calls is also included.

Furthermore, there is a one-touch media and organiser menu, multimedia player with MP3, AAC and MPEG4 support, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, Java MIDP 2.0, TrackID music recognition, handwriting recognition, StickyNotes, business card scanner, picture editor, voice memo and dial, document reader/editor, 160MB of built-in memory and Memory Stick Micro support. Sony Ericsson G900 packs a Li-Ion 950 mAh battery and it is able to provide up to 12 hours of talk-time and up to 380 hours of stand-by time.

The G900 is expected to drop during Q2 2008.
