Akhirnya tamat riwayat USB drive ini. Pendrive ni telah diorder pada 28 Julai 2020 dan sampai pada 8 Ogos 2020 dengan kapasiti 32GB dan harga RM19.46. Mula dari itu drive telah digunakan sebagai bootable drive untuk pelbagai ISO. Antaranya Manjaro, Linux Mint dan pelbagai jenis Windows dari Windows 7 hinggalah ke Windows 10. Untuk buat bootable pelbagai jenis ISO ni ada caranya. Boleh Google caranya.

Hujung minggu baru ni, semasa nak tune laptop ThinkPad T420 ntah macam mana laptop tu crash disebabkan RAm yang tak ngam, masa crash tu drive ni kebetulan tengah cucuk pada USB port. Bila test2 balik nampaknya dah arwah dah drive ni. 11 bulan lebih jugalah dia berkhidmat dengan jayanya untuk memudahkan kerja installation.

Sebenarnya aku sangat cerewet memilih USB drive ni kerana pada aku ia satu identiti. Design sangat penting, aku suka jenis yang simple dan nipis macam ni. Bukan senang nak cari yang sesuai dengan selera. Sekarang ni tengah mencari penggantinya.

"BUCHAREST (Reuters) - The residents of a Romanian village knowingly voted in a dead man as their mayor in Sunday's municipal election, preferring him to his living opponent.

Neculai Ivascu, 57, who ran the village for almost two decades, died from liver disease just after voting began -- but still won the election by a margin of 23 votes.

A local official said the authorities decided to keep the poll open in case Ivascu's opponent, Gheorghe Dobrescu, won, avoiding the need for a re-run.

'I know he died, but I don't want change,' a pro-Ivascu villager told Romanian television."

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - A man mistakenly certified as dead following a horrific motorcycle accident two years ago was reunited with his family last week after a social worker helped to identify him through thumbprints.

S Samy Pillai, 50, was believed to have been killed in a hit-and-run accident in June 2005, after his wrecked motorcycle was found along the same stretch of road as a body mangled beyond recognition, the Star newspaper said.

But he was found to be alive, although speechless and partly paralysed by the accident, after a social worker encountered him hobbling around on crutches about 300 km from his home and took him to authorities, who identified him from his thumbprints.

Last Tuesday, Pillai's wife, K Letchumy, 42, confirmed the man was her husband, but how he spent his years away from home is a mystery. The couple have 9 children, the paper said.

"I am glad Samy Pillai has been reunited with his family who had all this while thought the unidentified body had been his," the paper quoted Andrew Raju, the social worker, as saying.

"They even conducted prayers according to Christian rites."
