Dah tgk trailer filem ini td, kisah satu geng escape dari penjara di Siberia, derang terpaksa lalu kawasan salji, padang pasir dll sampai 4000km. Mesti terpencil betul tempat tu. Nantikan je lah kemunculannya, ntah ada ke tidak masuk panggung Malaysia. Nak kena tgk jugak ni.

Hunger 2008

2 hari lepas ada baca blog Faisal Tehrani, dia ada blogkan pasal movie ni, boleh baca ulasan dia di sini.

Hunger is a 2008 film about the 1981 Irish hunger strike. It is written by Enda Walsh and Steve McQueen, who also directed. It was made by Blast! Films and commissioned by Channel 4 and Film4. It premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, winning the prestigious Caméra d'Or award for first-time filmmakers. It went on to win the Sydney Film Prize at the Sydney Film Festival, best picture by the Evening Standard British Film Awards, and received 2 BAFTA nominations, winning one. The film was also nominated for 4 awards at the 2009 IFTA's winning 2 at the event.

Filem ini bukan filem hiburan ia lebih kepada filem politik, ia tidak sesuai ditonton kerana byk dipaparkan kekejaman di dalam penjara, adegan banduan yg dibogelkan dll.

Filem ini berkisar tentang asal wujudnya penentangan IRA di Ireland Utara. Bagaimana sesuatu penentangan itu tercetus bermula dengan mogok lapar seorang banduan ni. Ish susah nk ulas lah, kalau nk tgk sgt pandai2 lah cari.

Iron Maiden: Flight 666 (movie info)

British heavy rock legends, Iron Maiden, in association with Banger Productions, EMI Records, Universal (USA) and Arts Alliance Media, announce that they will be releasing a feature length documentary film into cinemas worldwide on April 21st 2009.

As you may know from Rod's tour diaries, Iron Maiden have been working on a feature length documentary. Entitled "Iron Maiden: Flight 666", the movie follows the band on the first leg of their Somewhere Back In Time World Tour in February and March of 2008 as they experienced the most ambitious and adventurous tour in rock history, and will be released in April 2009 in association with EMI Records and Universal in the USA.
