Service ASUS TUF Gaming A15

Assalamualaikum dan selamat petang semua, antara aktiviti hari ini adalah menyelenggara laptop ASUS TUF Gaming A15. Customer minta pasangkan wireless card baru AX210. Aku pun okkan sahaja bila dia call tu. Tak lama lepas tu muncullah customer kat depan rumah. Aku buat service laptop ni kecil-kecilan dan sambilan sahaja. Kebetulan dekat dengan rumah ni ada politeknik dan UiTM, biasanya studentlah yang jadi customer tu. Yang petang ni aku tak tanya pula kerana chinese, malas nak sembang-sembang sangat kerana kadang-kadang orang pun tak berapa suka kena interview ni. Aku pula jenis suka juga untuk small talk, kena tengok-tengok oranglah. Barang yang baru dia dah ada jadi kerjanya pasang sahaja. 

Aku pun mulalah membuka skru satu persatu, dah siap buka semua aku jadi pelik sebab cari slot wireless card tak jumpa. Mula-mula nak marah dah takut-takut ASUS letak di tempat yang sampai kena buka motherboard rupa-rupanya dia bersembunyi di bawah hard disk NVME. Bagus pula ASUS Gaming ni punya layout motherboard dia, memang senang untuk service. Berbeza dengan entry level consumer punya laptop memang fragile sangat, nak kena buka hati-hati sebab ribbon dia senang sangat nak rosak. Nak buka pun susah. 

Dah siap pasang wireless card tu aku pun test nak ok semuanya, memang jadi lajulah dia nak browse internet lepas ni. Kemudian aku tengok fan dia punya teruk berhabuk, rasa macam air flow dah terhalang habis. Aku pun tanya dia untuk service fan sekali, aku quote harga tertentu dan dia pun setuju. Seronok dapat customer macam ni, tak banyak tanya. Kadang kita pun kena macam tu di zaman serba-serbi naik harga ni. Tak sampai 2 jam semuanya siap. Aku pun minta dia ambil semula laptop dia, lepas test dia bayar dan terus balik. 

Sementara itu aku baru iklankan satu laptop kat fb marketplace, kut-kutlah ada yang mencari laptop boleh click link ini. Laptop ni 12.5 inci screen dia, kecil dan ringan sesuai untuk yang rajin travel dan nak blogging di mana-mana sahaja. Chargar dia guna USB-C jadi kalau guna handphone yang guna charger USB-C boleh bawa satu chargar sahaja. Lain-lain info boleh PM tepi.

Balik kerja tadi boleh start lagi motor ni, tengah pusing nak keluar ikut pagar belakang tiba2 rasa macam minyak tak masuk. Pulas lebih sikit mati. Lama2 nak start pun dah tak boleh. Nasib baik ada MA Fitri bantu tunda motor sampai kat Jalan Baru. Ada bengkel kat situ. Plug dah tukar pun tak ok. Ni tengah tunggu dia service carburetor. Harap oklah lepas service carburetor ni.

With Google Latitude, now we can show our current location using Google Latitude gadget (above is the sample of that gadget). We also can show our location in Google Talk status.

iPhone app for Google Latitude is still not available at this moment. I'm waiting for this app.

Please Angry Customers

Please Angry Customers:

No business is perfect, and even if yours is, your customers aren’t. Dealing with angry customers can be difficult. Here are some suggestions for how to handle them.

1) Don’t take the criticism personally. They’re not attacking you as a person but you as an employee representing a company that they perceive as cold and heartless.

2) Listen to the client. Let them tell their side. This will help the client calm down and think rationally. Meanwhile, you can buy some problem-solving time as you listen. Ask the client what he or she would do in your situation and how to prevent the problem from occurring in the future. Involving the customer shows you care about his or her needs and that you’re committed to customer service.

3) Treat the customer as you would want to be treated. Don’t pass the customer around. If you don’t know the answer to the problem, tell him or her that you’ll find the answer and call him or her back. Give the customer your name and contact information so that he or she can reach you if he or she has another problem.

4) Deal with the person and then with the problem. People often need to vent, regardless of whether you’re the appropriate target.

5) Remember that stellar customer service can be the means for retaining a client instead of losing one, so how you deal with your unhappy customers is crucial.

Yahoo! Mail to offer unlimited space

Yahoo will begin offering unlimited storage for its free Web-based e-mail in May, the company announced late Tuesday. The move makes Yahoo the first of the major free e-mail providers to offer unlimited storage, but it likely will not be the last.

Yahoo currently offers 1 gigabyte for its free mail service and 2GB for its premium fee-based service. Google's free Gmail service offers more than 2.5GB of storage, and Windows Live Hotmail offers 2GB for free.
"We are watching the trend lines of how people are using e-mail...and they are sending more photos and videos and rich media," said John Kremer, vice president of Yahoo Mail.

Google began the storage wars in earnest when it launched Gmail in April 2004 with 1GB of storage. Yahoo Mail, which launched in 1997 with 4MB of storage, upgraded to 100MB of storage shortly after Google's Gmail announcement, bumped it up to 250MB in late 2004, and then up to 1GB in 2005.
With 250 million users, Yahoo Mail is the largest global e-mail provider and the largest in the U.S., according to comScore.
The unlimited storage will begin rolling out globally in May, and Yahoo expects to have all of its customers covered within a month, except for China and Japan. "We will continue working with these markets on their storage plans," Kremer said.
